GlaceEMR 6.0, a software offered by Glenwood Systems, a medical practice solutions company based in Waterbury, Conn., achieved ONC-ACB Electronic Health Records (EHR) certification via Drummond Group, LLC, an Authorized Certification Body (ACB) to test software for compliance with federal government requirements. The certification designates that the software enables eligible users to meet the requirements of various regulatory programs, including the Merit Based Incentive Payments System (MIPS) which incorporates many of the requirements from the Medicare/Medicaid EHR Incentive Program (i.e. Meaningful Use program).
GlaceEMR 6.0, which met the requirements for ONC-ACB Electronic Health Records certification, is an electronic health records software which stores and maintains patient records, digitally. To earn the certification, GlaceEMR 6.0 was tested to be in accordance with applicable standards and certification criteria put forth by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
For Glenwood Systems customers seeking to meet requirements for the 2018 MIPS program, they may use the prior certified 2014 Edition GlaceEMR version 5.0 or the certified 2015 Edition GlaceEMR version 6.0. Customers seeking to meet the program requirements for 2019 and 2020 must adapt GlaceEMR 6.0 to remain within the program’s requirements.
